First week back

So for this one we picked an ad out of a magazine and kept the layout and used our own drawings to imitate the ad. Our images were to depict the first week of school. In my ad a door was the main focus, with different types of nature such as trees, flowers and animals peeking our from behind it. In my composition I used a stack of books to replace the door and different items that remind me of school to replace the nature

Back at It

For this assignment we were to compose a drawing of five times as well as text to tell a little bit about ourselves. Items chosen were sunglasses, coin jar, lamp, medal and and hourglass. each of the items have meaning to me. In the composition of the objects I wanted them to flow together in a disorganized yet purposeful way. For the words instead of using several large words to describe how the objects related to me I decided to use many small words and tell a more in depth story about how the objects are special to me all while adding to the overall composition
